My Absolute Favorite Nail Color of Fall 2014

I know that the buzz surrounding the Milani Fall 2014 Limited Edition Bedazzled Collection has focused primarily on the eyeliners and lipsticks, but when I received some products from this collection for review a while back, I kind of gasped when I saw this nail color in person.

If you're a longtime reader of this blog, then you know that I don't often go crazy over red nail polish. But every once in a while a certain red catches my eye and I fall hard for it. The last red that really won my heart was Maybelline Autumn Leaves from back in the Fall of 2011. Not since then has a fall limited edition red really spoken to me but, I'm telling you, this Milani polish is The One. I even named the title of this blog post after the post I wrote for that Maybelline polish back in 2011, because I feel like it deserves the same amount of praise.

Milani Color Statment Nail Lacquer in Echanted Garnet
From the Fall 2014 Limited Edition Bedazzled Collection
(retail: $3.99, 0.33 oz)

Before I get to my review, I want to let you know that as of the time of this post, the Bedazzled collection is no longer available on the Milani website (hopefully it pops up there again soon..sometimes that happens!). But I have heard from readers who have still been finding this collection at their Walgreens and CVS stores quite recently. Per Milani, this collection is exclusive to CVS and Walgreens, so hopefully you can still find it in your area. And if you can't, perhaps try Amazon or eBay. To me personally, it's worth the hunt. Review: e.l.f. Holiday 2014 3-Piece Plumping Lip Gloss Set

Last week I showed you the e.l.f. Holiday 2014 Gift Sets that have landed at Walgreens, and I'm sure they'll be at Target again this year (and probably Big Lots too). There are actually more gift sets than what I first showed you HERE, but the other sets have blue packaging in case you want to start looking for them at your local Walgreens (I've seen some eyeshadow palettes in the blue packaging on social media this week).

When I was at my local Walgreens last week I spotted these pink sets high up on the shelves in the shaving cream and razor aisle. I decided to pick up the gloss trio and I've been using these for about week now. I know that's less time than I usually give for testing, but since I know that some of you were curious about this set, I wanted to give you my impressions as quickly as possible. So let's take a look...

Sneak Peek: Revlon 2015 Nail Colors

Thanks to reader @sabina__t on Instagram for letting me know that Hollywood Life recently posted a sneak peek at some new Revlon nail colors coming in 2015. Check it out:

Here's what I can decipher from this photo....

Coming in 2015: Jordana Modern Matte Lipsticks

Jordana posted a sneak-peek on their new Instagram page and you know I had to share. Check it out:

Coming in 2015: Jordana Modern Matte Lipsticks

I don't know how many shades will be in the range or what the price will be, but since the packaging is similar to their Easyshine Glossy Lip Colors (reviewed HERE back in 2011), I'm guessing they'll be in the $1.99 ballpark too.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear more about these--I just wanted to let you know that they're coming!

Spotted: L.A. Colors Holiday 2014 Gift Sets

I've you've seen my recent Holiday 2014 drugstore gift set posts, then you know that we're officially in "Look Up" season at the drugstores. In short, that means that the annual flood of beauty-related gift sets are now hitting drugstores, and sometimes you can only find them by looking up to the higher shelves outside of the beauty department. Retailers often run out of room in the beauty department for all of these types of sets, so search the entire store and don't forget look high up above the regular shelves.

I was "looking up" the other day at Rite Aid and spotted a ton of  L.A. Colors makeup and nail polish gift sets that I wanted to share with you (NOTE: these should also be popping up at other retailers--I don't believe any of these are exclusive to Rite Aid in case you don't have a Rite Aid in your town). So let's get to it!

L'Oreal Nude Eyeshadow Palette Coming in 2015?

Thanks to reader @sabina__t on Instagram for letting me know that today L'Oreal Canada posted this sneak peek on their Instagram page:

NEW L'Oreal La Palette Nude
Coming to Canada Spring 2015

L'Oreal Canada writes:
"Product preview from our PR gal @kristinaargento: a game changing nude #eyeshadow palette coming this spring!"

If you look closely at the closed palette on the left, you can see that it's called La Palette Nude. And underneath that it looks like it says "Rosé" (perhaps that's the shade name of that particular palette, and the palette on the right is a different collection of colors with a different name? These are just guesses of course--maybe there's only one palette!).

I obviously do not know if the US is getting the La Palette Nude for 2015, but I certainly hope so! At this point, we'll have to wait and see. Fingers crossed until then...

Thanks again, @sabrina__t, for the great tip!

More Profusion Holiday 2014 Sets Now at Walgreens

If you're new to the brand Profusion, their products can often be found at Walgreens, Ross, Marshalls and even select Dollar Tree locations. Profusion is known for being extremely affordable, and sometimes I've found that the pigmentation of their eyeshadows isn't the greatest, but there are certain very noteworthy exceptions--especially when it come to their holiday collections.

If you missed my post about the Profusion $1 Holiday 5-Pans, they're back again for Holiday 2014 and those babies are little gems, I tell you (check out my review from Winter 2013 HERE). But did you know that there are OTHER Profusion holiday sets now popping up at Walgreens?

Thanks so much to reader Lina for the following pics. Lina spotted these new sets at her Walgreens this week and was nice enough to share pics and lots of info with us:
