Review: ColourPop + CoffeeBreakwithDani Metamorphosis Super Shock Shadow Quad

Finally, a ColourPop review, right? I swear I have had a wishlist going for over a year now, but every time I think I'm ready to pull the trigger, they release something new and I end up shuffling around my "must-haves" and starting my darn list all over again! I was able to place an order for some of the new Ultra Matte liquid lip colors the day they went live, so expect another review from me for those as soon as I get my order (should be any day now).

But today, I'd like show you the Metamorphosis Super Shock Shadow Quad, which is a collaboration with CoffeeBreakwithDani on YouTube.

Full disclosure: I am friends with Dani of CoffeeBreakwithDani, and she gave this quad to me when it first debuted. She gave this to me as a gift, and she did not request nor expect me to review it. However, I have been using this quad for a few weeks now and I love it so much that I really want to share it with you while it's still available for purchase (in case you might like to order it). I am certainly not the only blogger to love this quad (Temptalia gave it an "A" rating and many others have given it high marks as well), but I thought you might like to know my thoughts since these are the first ColourPop eyeshadows I have ever owned.

Now Through 7/5: Get the Sephora Inside JCPenney Sun Safety Kit for $19 (Regularly $27; $104 Value)

Many thanks to reader @shannnyn on Instagram for this tip:

Back at the end of May, I compared for you the Sephora Sun Safety Kit to the Sephora Inside JCPenney Sun Safety kit HERE, and I think we all agreed that the regular Sephora kit was a better value. HOWEVER, the Sephora Inside JCPenney Sun Safety Kit is on sale now through 7/5 for $19 (in-store only, only at Sephora Inside JCPenney locations). Since they're knocking $8 off the price for the weekend, that does make it a much better value, so I want to make sure you know about it!

AND DON'T FORGET that you can also still get a FREE Benefit Cosmetics luggage tag by printing out or showing this coupon from your phone at Sephora Inside JCPenney stores right now!

PS: I have also added this deal to my 4th of July Beauty Sale Round-Up here (by the way, if you haven't checked my list in a while, get over there because I've added lots of new deals today!).

Thanks so much, @shannnyn, for the tip about this! Also, thanks to readers @facebymary and @belleofthebeers for tagging me on their pictures of this deal on Instagram today!

Breaking Beauty News: Makeup Revolution Now Available on the Ulta Website

Many thanks to reader @beautyydiary on Instagram for this tip!

The rumors were true! Makeup Revlotion (the UK brand that's known for inexpensive, quality dupes...seriously, just Google "Makeup Revolution dupes" and you'll see) is now available on the Ulta website HERE! There aren't a lot of products available right now. They are adding more and more items as we speak, so keep checking back!  Their UD Naked palette dupes are there, as well as some other palettes and invidivual products. I don't kinow if/when these will be available in-store (I'm guessing they will be in-store eventually).

This is SUCH great news for those of us in the US who haven't wanted to pay the high shipping fees from the UK! And don't forget that now through the weekend, Ulta is offering free shipping on orders $35+ (no code required) and they have a 20% off one item coupon on their homepage.

Haul away!

Thanks again, @beautyydiary, for the great tip!

Just In: More Products in the Wet n Wild Summer 2015 Venice Beach Collection

Still no reports of any nail polishes, but did you know that in addition to the 8-pans and lipglosses, there are also jumbo shadow pencils and eyeliners in this collection? Thanks to some lovely readers, I have just added pics of the eye pencils to my original post HERE (you can see the 8-pans and glosses in that post as well, in case you missed those a while back!).

CVS Expands Permanent e.l.f. Display to Additional Stores

Remember back in November of last year when I showed you the full e.l.f. display that was spotted at CVS by a reader? Well guess what? Additional CVS stores are now getting this display! To refresh your memory, here's what the e.l.f. display at CVS looks like:

Permanent e.l.f. display at CVS

This week I have heard from over a dozen readers who have just spotted a permanent e.l.f. display at their CVS locations. In fact, reader @AmyRBromberg on Twitter confirmed to me today that the e.l.f. display that just popped up at her local CVS looks identical to the one above shared by reader Emily back in November (thanks so much for that, Amy!).

So if your CVS didn't get this e.l.f. display last year, there's still hope! Keep checking back and hopefully you'll see it too. I haven't seen this display in my area yet, but I cannot wait to find it (and start using my Extra Bucks on e.l.f. goodies!).

Thanks so much to everyone who let me know about this sighting this week--I really appreciate the tips!

PS: If you missed my previous posts about e.l.f. popping up at more and more retailers lately, in addition to finding e.l.f. cosmetics at Target, Kmart, Walgreens, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Big Lots, etc. etc., you can now find e.l.f. at Old Navy stores and even 7-11 stores

Two New Sephora Inside JCPenney Exclusive Sephora Favorites Kits (Makeup and Skincare)

Just a few days ago I showed you the new Sephora Inside JCPenney facial cleanser sampler, and today I have TWO NEW sampler kits to share with you! Sephora Inside JCPenney has really been on a roll lately, right?

I"m so grateful to everyone who has shared these Sephora JCP-exclusive sets with us over the past few years. Since these kits are exclusive to Sephora Inside JCPenney stores, that means you cannot purchase them online or at regular Sephora stores. So the ONLY way that I've been finding out about these is from YOU! I don't get over to my local SJCP too often and, if you don't either, I hope these posts are as informative to you as they are to me!

First up, longtime reader Liz spotted this new skincare sampler at her local Sephora Inside JCPenney this week and kindly shared lots of pics with us:

New Beauty Blender Blotterazzi + Deluxe Sample of Benefit The Porefessional + Free Shipping

Beauty Blender has just launched a new product, and they've got a nice promotion right now in honor of the launch. Thanks to reader @katrinaraval on Instagram for the tip about this one:

Now through July 6th on the Beauty Blender site, you can get the new Blotterazzi for $20 and you'll get a free deluxe sample of Benefit The Porefessional, plus free shipping on all orders.

If you're wondering what this new product is all about it, it's actually not for makeup application. It's for oil absorption and for freshening makeup without disrupting your makeup. You can read more about it on the Beauty Blender site HERE. You get the compact plus two sponges (the sponges are washable/reusable).

Thanks again, @katrinaraval, for the tip about this one!

Review: Salon Perfect Limited Edition Rockin' the Red, White & Blue Collection

This weekend is 4th of July (can you believe it's already July?) and if you're in the US and looking for a fun, easy nail look for the holiday festivities, I have some ideas for you, thanks to Salon Perfect.

The Salon Perfect limited edition Rockin' the Red, White & Blue collection is available in Walmart stores now. I have seen these polishes both in special end-cap displays and also in the regular, permanent display, depending on the Walmart location. So be sure to check both areas in the beauty department if you're looking for these.

I received the entire collection for review including six glitters, four non-glitters and one top coat. Since this is a large collection, I decided to swatch these on a nail wheel because it takes less time and I wanted to get this post up before the holiday (so you have time to grab some and do a mani before the weekend, if you are drawn to anything here!). So let's not waste any more time...

Salon Perfect Limited Edition Rockin' the Red, White & Blue Collection
(retail: $3.98 each, 0.5 oz, available exclusively at Walmart stores nationwide)

Review and swatches, after the jump...

Review: Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes

Over the years, I've sort of stuck to my favorite facial towelettes and really haven't explored too much when it comes to other brands (three or four years ago I think I was on a kick and reviewed several different brands, if you've been with me for a while and remember that!).

But over the last year or so, I have heard from several of you here on the blog and on social media who have been raving about these Simple wipes. So when I had the opportunity to receive some for review a while back, I jumped on it. I've been using these wipes for over four months now, and today I'd like to give you my verdict!

NOTE: Now through July 4th, Simple skincare is BOGOFREE at Walgreens (both in-store and online HERE) and that sale includes these wipes, as well as the Simple Micellar Water I reviewed HERE. And don't forget that you get free everyday shipping on orders $25+ on the Walgreens site in case you can't make it to a store this week.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes
(retail: $5.99; 25 wipes per pack)
